For those who don’t know me, I’m Christelle, originally from France. I’ve had the chance to travel to many countries before finally settling in Riverview, FL with my family. You might be surprised to hear that before finding myself in the baking industry, I worked as a customer service agent at Newcastle and Stansted airports in England, and later as a flight attendant in the Middle East. Not exactly related to pastries and long hours in the kitchen, right? But baking has always been a passion of mine, especially on Sundays when my mom and I would bake together—it became our little tradition. After moving to the U.S., I decided to dive deeper into my love for baking. I took several cake decorating courses and completed a formal French pastry class, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Learning and working in a professional kitchen alongside a chef was an incredible experience! For years now, I’ve had the pleasure of baking and creating beautiful and delicious French desserts I once never imagined possible. And thanks to my Puerto Rican husband, I’ve also discovered the rich flavors of his beautiful island and started incorporating them into my cakes. The greatest reward in my journey has been seeing the joy and happiness on my customers’ faces. I will always treasure those moments.
